About Kelly DeLucia
DeLucia is a Hampton Roads native raised in Yorktown, where she now resides with her wife and two sons. Like many who hear the call, Kelly entered politics resolved to make a difference. She has been cast into leadership and recognized for excellence throughout her life. Competition, with herself and others, has made her into an intense, resilient, future-focused leader with a deep desire to serve her community in the Virginia House of Delegates. Kelly is ready for the challenge.
Driven to excel
Kelly DeLucia earned her degree in Public Administration from Indiana University's prestigious School of Public and Environmental Affairs where she was among 20 students selected to join the Washington Leadership Program. She was the only member of the Washington Leadership Program (class of 1998) selected to serve in the Pentagon. Kelly is currently a realtor in Hampton Roads, ranking in the top 6% of over 6,500 active peninsula agents in 2016. At Keller Williams Elite she served on the Associate Leadership Council (ALC) for the past two years and chaired several committees. Prior to her transition to real estate, Kelly founded a corporation which she later turned into a non-profit organization to serve the community and better align with her commitment to philanthropy. In her earlier years, Kelly traversed the country as an elite athlete and later a collegiate coach.
Focused on Community
Over the last decade, Kelly has worked to fundraise and increase awareness for dozens of local non-profit organizations. Her annual event at Buckroe Beach drew thousands and featured several local nonprofits annually. In Hampton Roads, she's worked with organizations such as YouthBands, RockSolid Foundation, Seton Youth Shelter, Virginia SIDS Alliance, Ferguson Center Arts for All, StandUp for Kids, Houses of H.O.P.E, Steps to Success, N.E.W to You, Orphan Helpers, H.E.L.P., VA Power Soccer, No Bully, CASA of Chesapeake, Safehaven, Free Kicks 4 Kids, Boy Scouts, LINK, Tony’s Marching Angels, and many others.
